Brighton predicted XI: Swansea (H)

Brighton will face a proper test in their hopes to retain Premier League status as they welcome Swansea City to the Amex. The Seagulls are currently 14th in the division, one point above Swansea in the 16th place and barely above the relegation zone.

Swansea have captured 11 points from their last five league games, including impressive victories against Liverpool and Arsenal. They are unbeaten in 10 matches across all competitions since appointing Carlos Carvalhal as their new manager.

Chris Hughton’s men are currently in a decent run of form themselves, with five matches unbeaten and five points from their last three league games.

At this stage of the season, matches against teams that sit around in the league table become “six-pointers”, and in an especially packed lower mid-table, this match becomes further important – only five points separate the 10th placed team from the relegation zone.

With Jiri Skalak and Steve Sidwell the only absentees, Chris Hughton will have almost a full squad available for tomorrow.

Here is how we expect Albion to line up…
