Welbeck has had his best goal scoring season of his career so far, and he can still add to that total. He is currently under contract until June 2027. Since he joined Brighton, the side have qualified for Europe, playing in the Europa League.

He has also helped Brighton become a mainstay in the Premier League, as when he joined they finished that season in 16th. Since then, the Seagulls have finished in ninth, sixth, 11th and eighth. So far this season, they currently sit in eighth spot, only a point from the Europa League again.

Depending on other team’s successes in Europe this season, the Seagulls may get into Europe in their current position.
